Where does the reward data come from?
It's hand-compiled from publicly available card terms and the standard merchant-category-code (MCC) list, then bundled into the app so it works offline. Issuers change rates and exclusions often, so treat it as a smart starting point — not gospel — and confirm against your card's current terms before a big spend.
Is this financial advice?
No. It's an informational lookup tool to help you reason about which card earns best for a given purchase. Your spending decisions are your own, and Watchdog Labs isn't affiliated with any bank or card issuer.
Can you add my card?
Yes, please ask. Email [email protected] with the card name and a link to its official rewards terms, and I'll look at adding it in a future update.
Is my data safe?
Completely. The app is fully offline, requests no permissions, and collects nothing — there's no account and no network connection. See the Privacy Policy for the details.
